ASTM (the American Society for Testing & Materials)- ASTM is a not-for-profit organization that provides a forum for producers, users, ultimate consumers, and those having a general interest to meet on common ground and write standards for materials, products, systems, and services. More than 10,000 ASTM standards are published each year in the 73 volumes of the Annual Book of ASTM Standards. ASTM Standards are widely used and accepted around the globe. ITA (the International Titanium Association).....The ITA is an international association made up of companies interested in supporting and encouraging the development of new and existing markets for titanium. The association fosters a cooperative environment for the various elements of the titanium industry to reach these goals more effectively.
